"supplement To Mind" Dynasty

Shiyiji is a historical supernatural novel written in the Six Dynasties.Today's edtion has ten volumes. Among the first nine volumes fairy tales are in the majority and mix with historical records. These stories occurred from the period of three emperiors and five monarchs to the two Jin Dynasties. The last volume narrate the eight fariy mountains in legend.It took researchers in past dynasty years of hard work to study the ture and false of Shiyiji, how it came down and its content and feature. Exploring these kinds of problems can not only help understand the text Shiyiji itself , but also find out how the classical literature came down and how the academic history developed. This thesis mainly discuss the following problems:Foreword:Make a brief summary and recalling about the research fruit of Shiyiji in past years and refer to the selected paper topic's meaning.Charter 1: the content and author of Shiyiji. The thesis comes to the conclusion that the content of the tale reflects four traits. Fist trait is the novel was mixed by a large number of unofficial history and anecdotes. Second is many exotic stories was recorded. Third is there are a lot of tales about immortals and ghosts in the novel. Last, the text is full of religious color. There's been no consensus of opinion about the author in the academic circles. Some scholars argue that Shiyiji was written by Wang Jia while others believe by Xiao Qi or Yu Yi and so on. The paper combed the intricate relationship between Shiyiji and its author basing on looking up documents and studying texts. According to the research above, the paper figures out: Shiyiji was written by Wang Jia. The original manuscript has had twenty volumes. But in the process of spreading the original edition was damaged, so today's edition which has ten volumes was finished after Xiao Qi's restoration.Chapter 2: the aesthetic features of Shiyiji . Shiyiji as an artistic work has its unique aesthetic consciousness and angle of view. This section abstract and sum up some aesthetic features of the novel which embody the features of discussion, history and fantasy. At same time, the paper respectively make a systematic theory analysis for every feature above according to the text cases.Chapter 3:the literature features and value of Shiyiji. Though it is not a typical literature, Shiyiji has strong literature color. The historical doubtful case that Zhao Gao was a traitor or a patriot induced the author anti-conventional thinking about the records of unofficial history and anecdotes.
