Literary adaption for movies has become a unique cultural phenomenon in the fifth-generation movies creation. The fifth-generation movie directors actively enter into the new-times cultural field and construct a particular screen context by narrating and visualizing through various collection of literary texts and refined filmizing techniques. This paper discusses move adaption phenomenon of the fifth-generation movies in a unique cultural context in terms of cultural interpretation and tries to reveal the ideological purposes and narrative styles involved in the screenwriting of the fifth-generation moves. This paper is centered at the literary recomposition of the fifth-generation movies. This special cultural phenomenon came forth in a special cultural context in the new times, implies special values and modality, and ends as the cultural change and development of the new times. The cultural significance and artistic value are elaborated in four chapters in the paper. Chapter 1 mainly discusses the issue of modernization of Chinese movies in the new times and the reason for the modern integration between literature and moves. Chapter 2 focuses on the cultural values of the fifth-generation move recomposition from the dimensions: prudence of humanity, reversion of civil society and anxiety of self-identity. Chapter 3 is mainly on the modality and style of the fifth-generation moves based on the analysis to the directors' personal manner, historical view, narrative style and video-noumenon awareness. The last Chapter analyze future trend of the recomposition of the fifth-generation movies with the cultural change in the post new times.
