"visible Music" - Audio-visual Combination Of Teaching Methods Is An Important Means Of College Music Appreciation

With the further development of the educational reform, the arts education is carried out in the universities. The music appreciation teaching popularized by most students still is valued by the educators. The educational efficiency mostly depends on the teaching methods. This paper tries to discuss the teaching of music appreciation; the teacher should improve the traditional and sole "auditory teaching" and integrate the visual sense to the hearing one, make full use of the reciprocal function of arts to enable students to comprehend the music work maximally and promote the comprehensive artistic quality.Chapters One and Two of this paper generalize the characteristics of visual and audio art disciplines and their reciprocity. Chapter three discusses the significance of carrying out the comprehensive music appreciation teaching which integrates the visual and hearing sense in universities and Chapter Four promotes two ways of using the comprehensive music appreciation teaching.
