Ziyang Folk Songs Investigation And Research

Ziyang is located in south of Shanxi province, in the upper reaches of the Han River, at north of Tapa, which sits on the middle of the north and the south in China. Ziyang's folk song is a kind of folk art that produced in Qinba mountain area, which is the important part of music culture of Ziyang. And its natural environment brings strong style of the southwest's folk song to Ziyang's song. Because many people in Jiangzhe, Hunan and Hubei immigrated into Ziyang in the periods of Ming and Qing, which also made the folk song's in-migration. Immigrants'song and Ziyang's had processes of exchanges and integration, the folk song of Ziyang's contents and culture became rich and developed. The research of this assay bases on the background of the immigrants in Ming and Qing, and based on the morphological character of its folk song. Using the theory of musicology, analysis and comparison method study its artistic characteristics and meanings. The concrete research contains three parts:1. There is thousands of years from its production and development, which is the most active and popular folk arts for the people there. However, the population's rising and falling creates the superior chance for the culture communication , esp. the activity of the immigrants in Ming and Qing, which enriches the local folk song. Through the research of living environment and immigrants'background in Ming and Qing, it knows that in-migration had deep influence on economies, culture, life and so on. Also, Ziyang folk song became more prosperous.2. Through the analysis on mode scale, structure of music, form of melody, words and so on, it reflects its own artistic characteristics which was influenced by the natural environment and in-migration music.3. With analyzing the words on Ziyang folk song , we can see that it includes not only the variety local culture in Ziyang area, but also the foreign culture from the immigrants. As a popular and vivid type of recording about the local culture ,Ziyang folk song is one of the treasures of the folk cultures .However, we should worried about the present situations of Ziyang folk song. Through the analyzing the current situation of Ziyang folk song , the author tries to put forward some considerations about its developments in futures.
