Study on humanistic spirit of Chinese culture rised in the early 1980s. Since the 1990s, it has become the hot subject in the Chinese academic world until now. In general, the humanistic spirit is a kind of inner cultural spirit, and concerned about the sense and value of human beings. It expresses the traits of humanity in most general and direct signification, and pursues improving the humanity. Sushi is a versatile person of traditional culture in Chinese histroy, and had rich literary esthetics thoughts. Whether and how to use"humanistic spirit"to interpret Sushi's aesthetics thoughts is the purpose and lemma of this thesis.In this paper, the panman is aimed to discuss the connotation of humanistic spirit from two standpoints of east and west, and review Sushi from a brand new perspective of philosophical humanistic spirit, and locate him in Chinese traditional humanistic spirit specially in historial period of Northern Song. Inchoation from his aeshtetics thoughts of the true, the good and the beautiful, the panman differentiates and analyses Sushi pursued, quest and break through human and nature, human and socity, and human and itself in his humanistic spirit. To trace his source, the penman reviews the connotation and limit of Sushi's humanistic spirit as a feature of"self transcendence", then interprets and studies the humanistic spirit of Sushi, and quests for the effect and influence of the value of Sushi's humanistic spirit in Chinese traditional cultural spirit forming. Then tries to find the historical cause for pursuing the modern value in Sushi's humanistic spirit.As a present wit intellectual, Sushi chilled in politics. He outdid himself, surpassed difficulties, and pursued improving humanity all his life. He bemoaned the state of the universe and pity the fate of humankind as a humanitarian. He constructed independent personality positively. And he was rarely humorous and broad-minded"superman". The former studies on Sushi's aesthetics thoughts emphasized more particularly on his life fulling of frustrations, his literary viewpoints, or the aesthetics connotation of his poetrys, calligraphy and paintings, and rhythms, but neglected the spirit of humanity that he embodied when he quested and tried to achieve self transcendence. In fact, giving a profound analysis of Sushi's works of art and life attitude, we can find the light of humanistic spirit in his thoughts and the process he oppugned and puested for life, society and world, and the conscious mind trying to surpass this process exactly embodied a humanistic care. This also is the core of his humanistic spirit. The panman just tries to analyse and summarize the traits of"self transcendence"in Sushi's humanistic spirit throught this paper.This paper mainly concludes four sections: the first section approximately clears up the humanistic spirit, and discusses the connotation of humanistic spirit through two standpoints of east and west, and demonstrates the feasibility to use humanistic spirit to interpret Sushi's aesthetics thoughts; the second section analyses the mulriple factors in forming Sushi's hunmanistics spirit through the four aspects: the influence of Chinese traditional humanistics spirit; the interflowing of Confucianism, Scholaship and Tao; the spirit of Northern Song Dynasty; and Sushi's rough life experiences; the third section demonstrates that the self transcendence was the inner spirit of Sushi's humanistic spirit and this trait was prominent part in his whole thought through ananlysing the connotation and signification, continuity and uniqueness, inner coherence and contradictoriness in questing for the true, the good and the beautiful; the forth section summarizes the signification and value of Sushi'humanistic spirit in two aspects of the modern value of Sushi'humanistic spirit and the exploiting meaning to modern humanistic spirit, and indicates that driving deeply into the keystone of Chinese traditonal humanistic spirit in the representation of Sushi has an important signifaction to endue more humanistic care for modernist, to lead people to surpass the limit of self and the physical confusion in real world, and to pursue the eternal value of life. |
