Modern Chinese Syllable Phrase Research

Chinese idioms are a kind of special structure in modern Chinese. They are so frequently used in modern Chinese, and they often appear in the examination of HSK. They have the value of thoroughly study because they are so great to express meanings, they are so brief and they are so outstanding in the factor of sentence function. In conclusion, Chinese idioms are worthy our attention. The paper is divided into four chapters excluding the preface and the conclusion. The main ideas of the other four chapters are as follows.Chapter one, because Chinese idioms are mainly composed by three syllables, we have special study to tri-syllable Chinese idioms. Main of Chinese idioms are tri-syllable ,to show this characteristic more clearly, we choose some famous Chinese idioms dictionaries to do the statistic. We want to find the proportion of tri-syllable ones in all the Chinese idioms. We study this phenomena and we want to find the reason why tri-syllable Chinese idioms are so steady.Chapter two, to study tri-syllable Chinese idioms more thoroughly, we divid tri-syllable Chinese idioms more carefully. Firstly, we divid them according to the sensation. Then, according to the trope type. At last ,we divid tri-syllable Chinese idioms according to they can be put in other language structure or not . For some ones , we can put other language structure, we give more study according to the different type of language structure we can put in.Chapter three, we study the structure and function of tri-syllable Chinese idioms. We study the inside structure and sentence function of tri-syllable Chinese idioms more deeply. We try to find the contact of them. We try to study the corresponding and discrepancy between them. Furthermore, we want to find the reason of the discrepancy.Chapter four ,we do the study of the worth of tri-syllable Chinese idioms in the factor of Chinese teaching to foreigners. We research the status of tri-syllable Chinese idioms in the field of Chinese teaching to foreigners. We start our research from the inaccuracies of foreign students when they learn Chinese language. We study the teaching strategy for tri-syllable Chinese idioms, and we find some effective teaching methods .
