In the medium and late period of Anti-Japanese War and the Postwar early period,for closely related to Chinese people's fate of fighting the Japanese army andfounding of new China, the Sino-American relations had already become the targetthat was paid close attention to the public opinions in China. The public opinion intheir own unique way on many key issues affected the development of bilateralrelations and actively expressed their opinions and wishes forming a strong and warmatmosphere of public opinion. During 1943, the two country form a wartime allianceand domestic public opinion constantly shouting appeal to consolidate and developsuch a relationship and made due contributions. During this period, with thedevelopment of friendly relations between the two countries, the public opiniongenerally gave high marks. To the latter part of the War, American government'sone-sided policy tended to support the KMT government due to its own strategicinterests, even after the War, used military personnel to help the KMT transportingmilitary and directly sent troops to occupy the important surrender, which exacerbatedthe tensions, also caught the public opinion's awareness and discontent, so they hadcriticized the U.S. policy to China. Then American government sent Marshall toChina, so the public opinion paid attention to the handling of Marshall, but with thepassage of time, through a process by the expectation of disappointment.
