The author holds a point of view that blog features largely in the aspiration of the freedom of expression, which is similar to literature. In addition, blog manifests itself in the reborn folk culture and amusement culture. As the same time, blog encounters difficulties such as inaccessibility and the decay of characteristics. With a large quantity of materials and a general description of blog culture, the author explores further on several topics mainly targeting at the blog writings from traditional writers and literature critics. With the sight of blog, a new type of writing, literature presents a new starting point. On one hand, it has adapted to the mutual development with culture and media, on the other, it lays down a solid ground for itself on the research of new phenomenon in the cultural life. Literature will be greatly endched and colorful if the blog writing is tolerated and guided by contemporary literature and contemporary culture.
