There is a proverb"若者言葉"in Japanese language that says"Young people's term". Yonekawa Akihiko has defined the concept of"Young people's term"as"A special language and tongue, with game feature, that is popularly used in the age range of adolescent to 30s for promoting entertainment, joint and hiddeness of talks".Every language all over the world changes with the time flying and social affecting. And according to age distribution, the language used is different. Some languages are only used by young people. Moreover, young people are leading the development of modern society, thus the mastery of young people's term has important signification for better communication with young people.With the rapid development of the internet, young people not only use young people's term in the daily life continually, but also make young people's term with their unique patterns on the web.This paper classified and analyzed the characteristic feature of Japanese and Korean young people's term from the view of contrastive linguistics and social linguistics. The contrast is based on the aspect of speech and marker, the aspect of vocabulary and semantic meaning, and the aspect of word building. And the analysis is based on the questionnaire that reflects the young people's ideology.This paper can be divided into five chapters:(1) Statement to the research purpose, present status of research and methods of research—chapter 1;(2) Introduction to the concept of Japanese and Korean young people's term, and the coverage of young people's term—chapter 2;(3) Classification to the characteristic feature of Japanese and Korean young people's term from the aspect of speech and marker, the aspect of vocabulary and semantic meaning, and the aspect of word-building—chapter 3;(4) The analysis of questionnaires on the Japanese and Korean languages—chapter 4;(5) Conclusion—chapter 5.The result shows that the Japanese and Korean young people's purpose of using young people's term to display entertainment, hiddeness, individuality and simplification is uniformly correlated. The Korean language has many expressions in the aspect of speech and marker, while Japanese language is correspondingly monotonous. Both Japanese and Korean languages can be divided into"Original semantic meaning deviated word-building"and"Original semantic meaning accorded word-building"in the aspect of word-building. However, in the"Original semantic meaning deviated word-building", the word-buildings of"読み替え","形容词,形容动词作り","动词の複合や动词の派生","名词の裑合"are unique to Japanese language.
