IvanⅣis the first tsar in Russian history. He is also a founder for the establishment of Russian dictatorial system and the earliest ancestor of wholly expansionism. He had sovereign power in the history of founding Russian. In 1650s, IvanⅣhad carried out a series of the reformation including political economy, military affairs and religion for establishing a centralized system. These reforms were propitious to the productivity recovery and development. In addition, it obviously enhanced the fighting effectiveness of Russian armies. In 1660s, for fighting against Boyaer separatist forces and consolidate the tsar system, IvanⅣlaunched a system for trading different states differently (The Oprichnism). However, this policy inhibited the development of productivity, which led the breakdown of Russian economy and deepened the Russian serfdom system.Since Russia is an inland country, the enclosed geographic conditions extremely limited foreign trade and cultural communications, which blocked the cultural development of Russia. Thus, the most important mission Ivan's administration was to enhance the Russian standing in the world and adopt active expansionism policy. Meanwhile, assisted by royal meetings, Ivan the forth had made outstanding achievement:Russian economy and the military strength have been enhanced. However, this also helps Ivan's ambition for expansion. From then on, IvanⅣbegan to carry out the all-direction and large-scale expansion. Thus, Russia with developing economy has been dragged into a whole nightmare. The economy was worsened fast and social contradictions of in the homeland have been aggravated in the homeland.
