Zhu Tianxin, to be a writer, is influended and cultivated by times. The track of her life, also, the writings of her reflect the views of times. In her writings, it appears her preferene to recall the old days. Therefore, she is also called "old soul". She has been exploring the meaning of life and keeping them with writing. From micro angle, these explorations compose her manuscripts; from macro angle, the dialogues between she and the time, supply a mirror for us to know the history. Here, from Tianxin's different styles in different time and space, studying her writings and penetrating thoughts to writing.This paper composed with five sections inclluding foreword. It introduces achievements gained in this field and the objictive this paperwant to reach in the foreword. The second section------literature paradise.In this part, it studies the early circumstances for Zhu Tianxin, and theinfluences in her writing. The third section------sentimental narration inivory tower. The main points in this part are the theme, characters, artistic styles in her early writings, also, the relation between the time and herwriting. The four section-------hesitate and leave, relying on twocollections of her, to analyze the deep reason for her turning in writing.The five section------calm saying in mundane world. It appears author'sexploration in literature with life and writing in new time. Memory is the significant element in Zhu Tianxin's writings. She has been writing the memories, meanwhile, writing the meaning of life with memory. Getting sense for "now" from the lod hestory, to recognize this society, and speak for this society. She paces back and forth in the edge of the modern city, collecting the things which were forgot by people, by time, to write the realer history composed by these things into Taiwan's litruature history.
