Breakthroughs And Reflection

Henan local novel creation has attracted many people's attention since the late 1980s.Many Henan writers, such as YanLianke, LiPeifu, LiuZhenyun, ZhouDaxin etct.They have been paid extraordinary attention by the critics. Although this Henan writers'group didn't carry out any explicit school ideas, their novel creations have shown rich characters of Henan local culture and appeared some common features in their describing of some theisms, such as misery, power, and reconsideration of the village culture of central plains because of the strong influence of local culture. Based on many articles and from the local cultural perspective, this paper tries to study and probe the local novel creation wholly of Henan local writers' group's during the modern times. Through probing the base of these works' value and the unique implications of the appreciation of beauty and of the culture, this paper tries to provide certain value for the creation and study of Chinese local literature at the present age. Summarizing the achievements of Henan local literature creation, this paper points out their limits and shortcomings and gives out some possible ways to develop and exceed their works' creation.
