France Art And Professional Students Study (1900-1949)

China returned art students from France are one remarkable professional study group in the study of modem Chinese history. From 1900 to 1949, a period of 50 years, about 150 art students who brought their love of the art, get to the center of Europe - France. After several years of hard study, the students returned homeland. They leaded national art institutions, and founded modern China sculpture education, and promoted the development of China craft education. In short, they made a great contribution for the development of China modern art.This paper is divided into the preamble, the text which including three chapters, and the conclusion. Among the preamble explain reasons for the problem, and the study of the status and trends at home and abroad, and the content and advantages of the text. First chapter's content is China art students studying history and their life in France. In second chapter, most Chinese students accepted of the academic art, and minority accepted modernist art. In third chapter, they not only completed the transformation from traditional to modern art education, and effectively promoted the development of the art of Chinese painting. Conclusion of the paper is that returned art students from France have achieved such tremendous achievements and influence, because they had received the outstanding French art resources.
