What moral education depends on are a world of human beings and a world of life filled with vigorous lives. Teachers and students communicate and understand with each other in such kind of world. However, affected by scientificlism and referential reason since the modern times, moral education have been more and more scientific. The process of moral education was regarded as the process of memorization of moral knowledge with the mutual understanding between teachers and students ignored. Therefore, the obligatory moral education that was instilled and inculcated still exists. Understanding is one of the way to free the moral education from this predicament.The thesis draws upon H.G.Gadamer's ideology of philosophical and explanatory theory. It tells that understanding is the learn method only humen have and is the bridge between humen. The understanding is also a fundamental mode of human's existence and a demonstration and representation of living ability. Understanding in moral education is not merely recognition, but also a state pursuing the moral education.The current paper at first talk about the topic of "what is understanding". Regarding this problem, it emphasizes on the retention and ignorance on the understanding and neglecting students' pre-understanding in realistic moral education. Therefore, manipulating the recycle of understanding and melting with horizontal viewpoints actively are considered as the condition of moral educational understanding. On the basis of those conditions, the moral education steps forward a state of understanding by means of understanding oneself, others and lives for teachers and students.
