| Zengguangzixuejuyu is a book about characters wrote by Tieshan in Qing Dynasty,which broaden Zixuejuyu. It records the actual characters of Qing Dynasty. This paper uses these materials to study the characters of the Qing Dynasty.This paper reasearches on Zengguangzixuejuyu,one of the main content is the investigation into the existence of vulgar-characters and variant-characters.Variant-characters is an important aspect of collating and standardizing characters, but it have not presented a clear and the academic definition. Under the guidance of the theories in configuration combining with the use of the word, we give a definition of variant- characters: It is the word of which have not changed the function when the form of the characters had changed,as well as writing a variation of the different form of characters. On the basis of the theory of configuration, we investigate the variant-characters comprehensively and classify them. On the research of different types of variant-characters,we sum up the rules of characters which write in different forms.Vulgar-characters is an unavoidable phenomenon in the development of Chinese characters, each period has its own vulgar-characters.We inspect the vulgar-characters which the author marked with "su",and sum up the characteristics of their type in Qing Dynasty.Contrasting to Shuowenjiezi,Yupian and the more commonly used characters in modern Chinese,we get a clear track of variant-characters'own development.We also investigate Chinese Calligrapher's characters specially and know the influnence of calligrapher for Chinese characters'development. |
