Two Northern And Southern Women Literature

The woman literature of Han and Weijin and South-north dynasties as the previous period of Chinese woman literature got a great achievement. On the one hand it has the general essence of woman literature, on the other hand it has its own character according to the age it is in and contributes a lot in style and thoughts which should not be ignored. Here my thesis will give a complete observation on the woman literature in this long period from three aspects:The first part introduced the background of research and brought forward the value of research.The second part gave the general essence of woman literature in this period, it includes three aspects:1 the subject matter focused on the love matter and personal life.2 the true and nature expression for thoughts and feeling.3 the close relationship between music and literature.The third part described the different style and feature of woman literature in Han and Weijin and South-north dynasties. In Han dynasty woman was influenced by Confucian and woman literature identified with it strongly from all sides. In Weijin period people shook off the shackle of Confucian and recognized the ego consciousness, woman literature was willing to show their independence and true sensibility.3 In South dynasty people inspired a great interesting for world life, woman literature gave many words to describe the enjoyment of practical life.4 North dynasty was established by minority which has a bold and unconstrained habitude, woman literature also has this unique style.The fourth part displayed the innovations in literature forms and book crafts which were made by woman such as the five-word poem in Han dynasty, the circle-read poem in Weijin dynasty and the big efforts to advance, book crafts in poem-writing by South dynasty woman.
