This thesis digs out the profound cultural connotation involved in Suite of Concert, themasterpiece of the famous French Bayan Accordion performer and composer FranckAngelis, and connects it with our special field of study through deep and comprehensiveexposition and analysis. It also analyzes realistic performance value of the work throughthe integration of theory and practice.The present thesis contains three chapters:Chapter One makes a deep analysis of the profound background of the creations and themusic connotation in the composition. It discusses the features of theme, musically,embodies the principle of combing the suite and single movement structurally andexpounds varied distinctive music languages in the whole composition according to theorder of musical movements. In the aspect of music form, the composition, whichconsists of three different parts, touches upon varied music forms from the smallestphrase to the biggest compound form; in the usage of harmony, it matches the variousthoughts and contents showed in each music paragraph and the language of harmony,such as many sorts of modern harmony techniques involving compound harmony,extra-sound-added harmony and quartal equal-tempered harmony; In respect ofcounterpoint, there is no lack of determined and dauntless innovation in the compositionand it strives for combination of different methods which are both original andup-to-date; Referring to tonality, the frequent transposition enables the unite(union) ofmusic sentences to take on the feature of music composition in 21st century; besides, inusage of rhythm with distinct style, the composer applies irregular tempo in quantityand creatively forms his own language of rhythm to reveal strong nationalcharacteristics.In Chapter two, the writer makes a systematic exposition of the characteristics of thedevelopment and structure of Bayan Accordion as a rising contemporary instrument,analyzes a large number of typical difficulties in the music composition from the angleof performing, such as the correct way of performing a long paragraph of bellow shakeor tripartite staff, the perfect balance between the fast-moving right hand and the lefthand which is playing an irregular rhythm, the use of register, the skill of composingmaintenir, etc. The writer tries to make instrumentalists understand better and performin a right way by analyzing and explaining in detail, and hopes more and more professional composers to take reference and create more excellent compositions ofBayan Accordion in order to promote the development of professional composition ofBayan Accordion in our country and elevate the level of performance increasingly.Chapter Three makes a more stereoscopic excavation of the artistic value andsignificance of the composition. Besides it brings the characteristics of BayanAccordion into play completely, it mixes the composition skills of modem music withthe traditional harmony, the eastern nationality and French Pop Jazz. When theperforming condition changes from a mechanical and physical process to a vividprocess of aesthetic feeling that is controlled by human awareness, a fantastic state ofperformance which is born from and beyond logic can be appreciated. Then the logic ofaesthetic judgment is built on the base of the state. All of these finally raise thecharacteristics of Bayan Accordion to a higher level.At the end, writer gives a detailed analyses of the importance of Franck Angelis Suite ofConcert.
