The writings by Vladimir Nabokov(1899-1977) have great influences on literature in later 20th century.Lost in dreams, his heroines were always with extraordinary singular fantasy. Their singular fantasy was almost equivalent to their own figures. This is their life identification and is also a large driving force of the plot, as well as the building cornerstone of his characters. This colorful fantasy is gradually replaced by pessimism and nightmare. Attracted by their illusions, his humble heroines, "A Charge to Keep," often charged very sad end. This was their tragedy lies. Had multiple entries (unreliable and reliable) narrative voice, their mutual antagonism and mutual questioned, it contained cracks in the smooth surface of the narrative, and included uninterrupted self-deconstruction on the surface of the overall End. These feathers created a bizarre atmosphere of the overall narrative, but also constituted a novel variety of possibilities for interpretation. In the text level, the pursuit of poetic atmosphere and mood; "Memory" narrative mode; "Metaphor" "Irony", "Parody" Rhetoric law used in large quantities, deliberately created an atmosphere dense lyrical. These strange and changeable narrative technique combined, echoed a common-smear-crystal-palace-like dream world.Behind the dream world were Nabokov's literary concepts. His dramatic life experiences formed his unique perceptions of time and reality. Showing in his writing performance, it comes to the loss of time concept, and his preference of memory (dedicated to recall childhood happiness), respecting imaginary Literature, and his fairy / myth-like literary concept. His fairy / myth-like literary concept decided the dreamy feature of his works from the keynote. Nabokov put dreamy features and game-attitude into the literary creation, opening generation to be the first literary culture. The lack of external objective theme is his major limitations. But for China's literary world, in which the realism occupies the status of mainstream for long time, Nabokov's unique technique, his colorful language, and the result of a world full of magic and passion-dream, are worth studying and learning from.
