XuanDing is a lower level classical Chinese fiction writer who is worth carrying out of system research in the late Qing Dynasty .His Ye Yu Qiu Deng Lu and Ye Yu Qiu Deng Xu Lu (respectively called Zheng Lu and Xu Lu in short, jointly called Ye Lu ) is a typical works after Liao Zhai Zhi Yi in Qing dynasty, that is called as the being handed down in a direct line of the tales in Tang Dynasty,the being handed down in a direct line of Liao Zhai Zhi Yi, can be rated as the classical Chinese novel in Qing dynasty. Because of this, the system research on XuanDing and Ye Lu should be carried out.This thesis carried out the system research on XuanDing and Ye Lu including five parts ,referring to the experience of XuanDing,the real and fake edition,the thought subject,the art characteristic,the aftertime influence,the novel history allocation etc.The first chapter is the verification of XuanDing.The emphasesare XuanDing's birth, death, family history and experience.This chapter have a test on the years of XuanDing's birth and death,a simple introducation on XuanDing's family history and an outline of XuanDing's lifetime experience in stage.The second chapter researched the edition and distinguished the real and false edition. This chapter have a research on the edition system of Ye Lu and a distinguishing in the massive editions of Ye Lu.The third chapter is the research on the subject of Ye Lu . This chapter first checked the times of XuDing and his thoughts ,then carried out classification investigation on Ye Lu.The fourth chapter is the research on artistic characteristic of Ye Lu.This chapter mainly researched the polt designation,the personage image,language style,romance, symbolism and so on.The fifth chapter is the research on the impacts of Ye Lu over future generations.This chapter first introduced the study of the academic circles on this problem,then investigated the impact of Ye Lu on traditional opera over future generations.The epilogue based on the research of front five chapters , then made objective valuation on XuanDing and Ye Lu,given Ye Lu a newly allocation on Chinese novel history and Chinese history of literature.
