The ideology of Wang Bi and Guo Xiang present surprising relevance. Both the construction of ontology and the relationship between nature and Confucian code all reflect relation of the subject with the synthesis between Wang Bi and Guo Xiang.But they also reflect different theory characteristics separately when being identical, and this solicitats the difference of their philosophy center.Wang Bi set up the theory of taking non-being as noumenonn, and stressed the noumenonn meaning of non-being, and link being with non-being. This ideology appreciated non-being without forgetting being. But the ontology also mixed the theory of building. Being and non-being only had incompact connection, so Xuanxue moved towards the theory of taking being as noumenonn on logic; In form, Guo Xiang develop the useful and discard the useless of the theory taking non-being as noumenonn, and inherited the form of the theory of taking being as noumenonn., set up the theory of Duhua. Guo Xiang admit the rational content of combining being and non-being together, and unified being and non-being by establishing non-being in the realm meaning again.In the relationship between nature and Confucian code, they all persisted in "sage inside an king outside", affirmed the unification of nature and Confucian code. So, their understanding to nature and Confucian code come down in a continuous line in many aspects. They affirmed the rationality and the catabolic possibility of Confucian code, and adhered to basic meaning of nature. But , their understanding have enormous differences, Wang Bi maintained a positive attitude to Confucian code, whether Guo taked passive attitude. In nature, besides inheriting the nature thought of Wang Bi, Guo Xiang admitted the freedom thought of Ji Kang and Ruan Ji. These make foreshadowing of differences in the mode of unification of nature and Confucian code directly. Wang Bi consider" Confucian code proceeding from nature". On one hand, he admit rationality of Confucian code rooting from nature. On the other hand, he claim abolishing the abuse of Confucian code to make Confucian code according with nature. Guo Xiang considered "Confucian code is nature". On one hand ,he admit Confucian code was the exhibit of nature. On the other hand, he claimed people should not be tied down by the Confucian code, and make nature ture in Confucian code, giving prominence to peripateticism and freedom. Their theory demonstrates "life is idealized"and " ideal living" separately.From the differences between Wang Bi and Guo Xiang, philosophy of Wang Bi center at politics. He discussed how to make Confucian code according with nature, to realize the long-term stability of the society at last. Guo Xiang put main energy in thory of life, establishing a world in which everyone have peripateticism .He taked the "involantary"and" indulgly" attitude to politics. His politics pertained to his theory of life.Wang Bi and Guo Xiang are typical embodiment of inheriting and developing in philosophy history. Analyzing the logic developing process between Wang Bi and Guo Xiang, has benefits to clearing the Xuanxue development vein and realizing the meaning of Xuan xue.
