Weijin and southen-Northen Dynasty is the times of turbulence and confusion. As the traditional thoughts, Confucianism is hindered from spreading and developing inevitably. Official school tumbles while once thriving. That Confucianism has become increasingly rigid is the underlying reasons. However, with Hereditary Nobles gradually mastered the political and economic power, active internal model of family educations give his family a new direction of development of Confucianism.Weijin and southen-Northen Dynasty family educations to all aristocratic families make a family as a unit, with the main contents of Confucianism and family commandments for the outstanding characteristics. Under school officials in the sluggish situation, family educations undertake heavy responsibility for a Confucian heritage, and continuation of traditional Chinese civilization. In the efforts of many aristocratic families and many scholars, metaphysics flourish. The core of metaphysics is Confucianism, while it absorbs many elements of Daoism and Buddhism.Confucian classics change from searching for meaning and superstition, and then gain a new life. Literature, science, music,Wushu, military, etc.are also in place at this time in family educations. The society formed a good learning style. Family educations pay attention to morality and courtesy which Confucianism advocates, and in social life have been implemented. Some aristocratic families are well received for upstanding familial ethos.In this paper, the family educations in Weijin and southen-Northen Dynasty are reviewed with classifying and comparing research methods. .Analyzing the relationship between family educations and Confucianism in many aspects from the content, features, role, eventually came to the conclusion that family educations in the Weijin and southen-Northen Dynasty should not be underestimated to the spreading and development to Confucianism in the frequent war times.The final article pointes out some deficiencies as well as the negative impact in the family educations, displays all-around the picture of family educations in the Weijin and Southen-Northen Dynasty.
