About Autobiographical Images Of Youth Growing Up

This dissertation will focus on the Film narrative theory to discuss the autobiographic image in the younger generation's films. It will use the factors which belong to the Narrative theory to demonstrate the change of the"character"of the 90th Chinese movies made by younger generation.The dissertation searched for a compare both in the way of landscape orientation and lengthwise direction in each chapter, focusing on the specificity as well as finding the character of all the films. Second, it reconsiders the time when these films come out and the background of these films, such as the very time when the Chinese economy changed, the blossom of many modern trends. Thirdly, some theory about depth psychology will be used to construct the metaphor of these images in the films.The younger directors which graduated from Beijing Film academy will be noticed in this dissertation. Such as Zhangyuan, Wang Xiaoshuai, Louye, Lu Xuechang, Hu Xueyang, However, the directors who graduated in 90s'will also be included.In a word, this dissertation will analyze the typical films; find their characters; point out their particularities during the Chinese film history.
