This article fully discusses the life-Style and Cultural Psychology of the modern Literators in late Qing shanghai from a brand-new angle of combining some theories about history and sociology. These Literators just like mirrors, from them, we can see the change of culture and socity in late Qing shanghai.After looking back the history of this field and defining detailedly the object ,the article mostly consists of three parts: the congregate of these Literators, the change of the life-style of them, theirs Cultural Psychology.Fistly, it begins with discussion on the two different worlds in shanghai, the particularity of the environment allured most of literators. Then this article described the appeal to the people from four respects ,ecnomical ,political , cultural and social. Secondly, this article discribed the social living style of the modern literators. Substantial living, community and cultural living is described in detail to exhibit the living picture of the modern literators to exhibit the difference of the mode of making a living, consumption, community and entertainment of the literators between in the modern business society and in traditional cultural environment. Last and the most important, the article pointed out that the potential reason of the living change is the change of viewpoint and cultural psychology. As the most important part of the article, this viewpoint is demonstrated in five parts. First part, "marginal people" is applied to explain that it is the special cultural environment in Shanghai inducing the marginal character of the Modern literators because they live in two different kind of environments ie the West and the East, but they are immigration more or less for both environments. Second part, this article point out that contradiction is the most prominent character of the modern literators. Third part, this article related the mode of making a living and consumption to the Cultural Psychology of value, ie View of Righteousness and Interest.
