There were many arguments about him. He served as an official in four dynasties and gave loyalty to ten emperors. He was on behalf of Gong—Ti literary writer. He developed the style of Gong—Ti literature. Great transitions on Yu Xin's writing style has taken place after his entering the North from the South, which is not only the ripe sign of Yu Xin's writing, but also a result of unity of the north literature and the south literature, therefore have important meanings of literary history. He had obtained the extremely high achievement .His works had the significant influence to later generation's palace literature. He was criticized by many posterities. The criticism had mostly aimed at his Gong-Ti Poetry. They accused his works to be empty and shallow. Different theorists held different standards about him. The conclusions they draw were not according to each other. Sometimes even deviates from the truth of history. These obscure places and falsehood are necessary to be clarified and corrected.This article is aim at researching of Yu Xin's Gong-Ti Poetry. The first chapter defines the extension and the connotation of Gong-Ti. Then ascertains the scope of the article. The second chapter carries on the inspection to Yu Xin's creation. His creation can be divided into two times, Southern Dynasty and Northern Dynasty. I review his creation what were written in the two dynasties .The third chapter classifies Yu Xin's Gong-Ti Poetry. Then expatiates the creation characteristic of his Gong-Ti Poetry .And then studies the spirit of the two times and the author' esthetic appeal.
