The middle ancient (about from 3 to 9 century) is a special ere of Chinese ancient society, the Buddhism was one of the best out standing characteristics of the time. At the end of East-Han dynasty, the Buddhism monastery economy was coming about along with the coming of the Buddhism.In the middle ancient ere, the Buddhism monastery economy had a long process from throwing up to developing, booming and reaching the zenith and declining little by little, and in the different ere, it had different features. The development of the Buddhism monastery economy not only mirrored the special features of itself, but also mirrored the features of the single feudal social development.The Buddhism charities were depended on the Buddhism monastery economic development, they were displayed in these respects: Aid the poor and relieve the people in stricken areas, cure the sickness to save the patient, protect the environment and lodge and so on. The Buddhism charity was one pillar of the middle ancient social charity, and played a positive role on the social steadied and development. The^ study of the middle ancient Buddhism charities is of value to present Buddhism charities.
