"zuo Zhuan" Narrative Features

ZUOZHUAN is china's first large-scale narrative works, in which the war nanation is its essence. ZUOZHUAN's war narrating art has a far-reaching impact on narration literatures of later age. In this thesis, we try to analyze its narrative characteristic for the centre with the war.We separate this thesis into four sections.In chapter one, we first discuss the background that ZUOZHUAN was produced in, then from elaborating ZHENGZHUANG XIAOBA war series and QIHUAN BAYE war series, we analyzed that ZUOZHUAN has the characteristic of taking the 5-BA as its centre and taking big battle as its climax.In chapter two, we think that ZUOZHUAN has a multidimensional visual angle of war narrating: a omniscient visual angle, a exquisite fine and smooth limited visual angle, and a visual angle of respecting morality and politeness.Chapter three analyze ZUOZHUAN's narration time strategy. Although ZUOZHUAN is narrated by the act time, telling in advance and afterwards are also used. These make the war stories intact; and has esthetic sensibilities.In chapter four, having analyzed three chapters before, we excavate ZUOZHUAN ' s formulation mechanism and culture connotation of narration art. We think that ZUOZHUAN is not only inherit official historian culture tradition, but also make some breakthroughs to some extent. ZUOZHUAN' s war narration reflect the social prevailing custom of revering morality and politeness, the times feature of advocating war, and the thought bud of valuing people.In the last, we briefly expound the impact of ZUOZHUAN 's narration art on nanation literature in later age.
