Yuan was the first unitary Dynasty founded by the minority in the history of our country. The unification and the rulers' worship to Tibetan Buddhism promoted its development in ceutral plains the south the north of the Grate Wall, which merged the Tibetan culture with the Han, the Mongols and the other culture, and promoted the mutual exchange and study between culture of all nationalities in Yuan Dynasty. The different culture permeated each other, influenced each other, then innovated synthetically. By this way, culture of Yuan dynasty got well development.This paper gave the history of the formation of Tibetan Buddhism, the relations between the Tibetan Buddhism and the rulers of Yuan Dynasty and the develophont of Tibetan Buddhism in the monglian palace even the whole country. Based on these, this paper analysed the influences of Tibetan Buddhism to the literature , art, education philosoply and solial customs of Yuan dynasty.This paper includes three parts:In the first part, it described the formation and the develofment of Tibetan Buddhism, the Tibetan Buddhism was introduced into the Tiket in the seventh century. It struggled with the primitive neligion_Bon, the two struggled, absorbed and merged each other. Therefore, it formed the Tibetan Buddhism.In the second part, it expounded the relations between Tibetan Buddhism and emperor, this part analysed how the emperor got unification of Tibet through the Tibetan Buddhism monk and why the emperor gave respect to Tibetan Buddhism. The development of Tibetan Buddhism in the Yuan palace and the whole country had great influence, to polics, econonry and culture of Ynan Dynasty.In the third part, it analysed the influenes of Tibetan Buddhism to the culture of Yuan Dynasty, it was the most important part of this paper. Supported by the ruling class, the Tibetan Buddhism monk translated lots of Tibetan Buddhism classics, created many literary works and formulated the mongoliam characters, the initiation of Mongolian characters was very important to the mergence Mongolian culture and the other culture.
