At present, the global ecological condition is deteriorating day by day. This article is based on the classic written by the foundering father of Chinese ancient Taoism --Lao Tzu and the theory achievements of other scholars in this field. It thoroughly unearths the ecological wisdom from the viewpoint of "Unity of Heaven and Human" of Lao Tzu.The full text divides three major parts. First, from a shocking present situation of the global ecology, the paper searches for a thought root committing this result, then clarifies the historical origin and the newest developments of the western Anthropocentrism and anti-Anthropocentrism to point out the advantages and disadvantages between them.Second, the article makes a detailed analysis of the thought of "Unity of Heaven and Human" and its ecological significance from three aspects opening with the original work including Guo Dian Chu Bamboo Slips. To start with, it stresses the feature of "Unite Human with Heaven" of Lao Tzu of his "Unity of Heaven and Human" thought from contrasting with Confucian. Then, this part takes a special explanation on the core concept of Taoist theory. As the source of the universe, Tao is the creator and follower of the world's rules. This rule is "Nature". At last, this section extends an ecological thought to Lao Tzu's theory from three respects. The cycle of the great Tao will never cease and Creation is equivalent. As Tao is the creator, human certainly should keep harmony with other creatures. Although people have to do harm with the nature for living, they should use resouses of the nature properly and control themselves. If people can't do that, they must be suffering a catastrophic failure, which is a double dissimilation both in nature and people's heart.Third, the paper puts forward two illuminating remarks from the thought of Lao Tzu which can enlighten people how to face up to the ecological and heart crisis of them. For one thing, we should utilize the brightness of Lao Tzu to build a holistic way of thought and then advocate an proper way of consumption to reach satisfaction in our heart. For another, the Sustainable Development strategy is a weak—Anthropocentrism. However, we should encourage it intensely to improve global ecological environment.
