As a intellectual of ancient times,XiaoXiaoSheng must be quite familiar with Qiand Lu culture. The Confucianist thought make a noteable impact on the novel. Forexample ,the author teaches and enlightens people with poem and Li.In addition, thereare many similarities in selecting material and in the idea.This thesis attempts to find the relation between Qi and Lu culture and TheGolden lotus,that is to say, how Qi and Lu culture impact author's creation motive, thewriting intention, the layout structure, and language characteristic and so on and howThe Golden lotus in carry on reconsidering to the Qi and Lu culture with to developthe good and discard the bad, develops to the Qi and Lu culture with reactionary.The dissertation contains three parts: introduction, main body and conclusion.Inintroduction,we pay attention to the novel'history and present condition.The main body altogether has five parts.The first chapter Qi and Lu cultureinfluence on The Golden lotus author's intention has the very strong correction worldintention.It comes from the Confucianist "the poem teaches". Through medicineanalysis of The Golden lotus,the thesis promulgates XiMenQing death inevitabilityand pitifulness. The massive songs in the novel vividly has demonstrated "theeffeminate music that dampens national morale sorrow by thinks".The second chapter Qi and Lu culture influence on The Golden lotusauthor'smaterial mainly explains subject matter in Qi and Lu culture.YingBoJue,the assistantin the XiMenQing'home,comes from Qi'man in MengZi,who begs in the east of city.In ancient times,there were a lot of prostitutes in Qi area.Similarly,the novel has manyprostitutes. XiMenQing "four shortcomings" and QiXuanWang "four shortcomings"reflects humanity's normal desires which cannot be under the normal guidance wouldlose control. This chapter mainly examines the source material which obtains from theQi and Lu culture.The third chapter Qi and Lu culture influence on The Golden lotus folk customhas a relation with ZhuangZi. ZhuangZi having"the fable nine tenth"is like manyjokes in The Golden lotus.The author regards the world as a dark rule and so he usesmuch filthy word. There are about twenty jokes in The Golden lotus.These jokes are not onlygood to create figure typical characters but also make the novel appeal to both the more and theless cultured.It is the traditional model of Chinese novels to insert poem, song and essay butseldom insert jokes.But in The Golden lotus,these are a lot of jokes .It is phenomena of beingworthy of reading.In addition,the novel also has describes the phemomenom of massive drinkswine.The Fourth chapter Qi and Lu culture influence on The Golden lotus author'scenter characters describes the phemomenom of "cloth exchange silk".MengYuLou'firsthusband is a man who sells cloth and XiMenQing is a clever business who sells mainlysilk. The original story comes from ShiJing.The novel condemns the degeneratedConfucianist school of thought.The fifth chapter Qi and Lu culture influence on The Golden lotus author'sstructure mainly elaborates The Golden lotus relying on the number to compile andsuggests the phenomenon of the clue with the mystical numeral . The thesis studiesthe novel with the number principle criticism.In conclusion four questions are analyzed briefly.As the author and the novelborn in the Qi and Lu area,it is a very interesting matter to promulgate the relationbetween Qi and Lu culture and the novel .
