Abstract/Summary:
Die-Zaubrflote, one of Mozart's last excellent opera provides an outstanding social significance in its creation which endows this dissertation with some artistic characteristics for further exploration. This dissertation argues these explorations as the following.Firstly, the combination in music is special. The illustration of the opera's language and its description on personal characters of the opera, are both in combination with music. Secondly, this opera reveals the thought of fraternal cooperation, and thirdly, some elements in operation creation are of no equal.Some research on Mozart's Die-Zaubrflote appears one after another which basically include introduction on some acts, illustration on plots and brief presentation on concerts and styles. But a multi-level research on the opera's music analysis, framework construction and its solo style would be a brand-new task for a postgraduate of vocal music. This paper intends to analyze and interpret these artistic features in this opera in four sections.Section one intends to explain the creation of the opera Die-Zaubrfolte from four elements: brief illustration on Mozart and his three various kinds of opera works;some data collections on the opera's creation time, public show time and some of the composer's information;the story of the origin of the opera Die-Zaubrflote and a brief introduction on the plots.Section two is to discuss the elaboration of the form construction of the opera from three aspects: outlining of the first real singing style of the opera;macro-analysis of its plots division;some brief statements on the development of the plots.Section three analyzes the characteristics of the opera's music performance, which is of the key point of this dissertation. Namely they are prelude, recitative, aria, duet, and chorus which elaborate Mozart's opera's music language and display its unique techniques.Section four exposes the seven conclusions as the following: (1) the opera possesses a profound social meaning at that time. (2) on handling with the opera's material choices and its subject matter, Mozart applies his unique comprehension and draws the conjunctions of myths and the social world. (3) Mozart creatively expands the opera's subject matter and surges forward the development of the burletta.(4) Mozart carries in and promotes the Naples traditional way of depicting the recitative and aria which creates the unity and harmony of vocal sounds and the band, in better service for the plots. (5) the duet is promoting the opera to exerting its function unfolding the plots which reveals brighter conflicts of the plots. (6) Die-Zaubrflote greatly contributes to the ethos of German opera. (7) by giving prominence to music, the opera lays the foundation on the principle of the music development which fully depicts the characters emotion, in perfect combination of music and its lines.
