| Chien Chung-shu is the glory to Chinese literature in the 20th century,so is to Borges Argentina. They are genius both as polyhistors and sophic writers.The present paper does a research on the creative psychology of Chien Chung-shu and Borges,and makes a cross-culture dialogue between the two literary figures. The present paper is based on a dynamic research on equal dialog,free communication,and mutual attestation and explanation, and finally find out the common essence of the poetry between Chien Chung-shu and Borges: playing spirits.First,the present paper uses the theory of "phenomenological reductivism"to make a text analysis and spiritual digging into the their works, such as Chien's Besiege City,Writing on the Edge of Life, and Borges1 Fiction, El aleph, and Discussion. The purpose is to make a sketch of the playing spirits that hide behind and impenetrate throughout the "Besiege City experience" and "labyrinth circumstance".Second,the present paper uses logic as a tool to dig out the deep meaning behind the superficial meaning of the playing spirits,which is the essence of Chien's On Art and Limited Views:Essays On Ideas and Letters,an6 which can corroborate Borges'untangled and paradoxical "deceitful games".Third,the present paper also cites the Nazaritism of the mysterious sudden awakening to reveal the two writers'playfulness and wisdom in their respective works. |
