This paper is mainly on the natural calamities that took place in Eastern Han Dynasty , The purpose is to clear up the space-time distribution features of the natural calamities in Eastern Han Dynasty, hoping to discover the regularity of the natural calamities on space-time distribution, and then to offer historical reference for us to take measures against natural calamities.The paper has four chapters:The first chapter summarizes the research achievements of the natural calamities of Eastern Han Dynasty.The second chapter collects and arranges the history data of the natural calamities, then analyses and criticizes the suspicious or wrong data.The third chapter is about the time distribution features of the natural calamities of Eastern Han Dynasty. It discusses the occurrence of the natural disasters.In this part, the statistics and the bar chart are used, The purpose is to make people know about natural calamities that occurred in this period more visually and to link complicated trifle calamity information, and then to analysis, sum up, discuss and summarize its regularity. The yearly table is key, the discussion of the feature of the calamity annual occasion distribution is spread out on the foundation of it. In the discussion of the yearly distribution feature, there are vertical and horizontal analysis. At the same time, the occurrence of the calamities is analyzed and counted according to the period that each emperor reigned. The result is distinct: the climax of Eastern Han Dynasty natural calamity is in An emperor period. There are more natural disasters in its later stage than its early stage, the tendency of the politics and economy of Eastern Han Dynasty is consistent with natural calamities. the charts show us a clear discription of the distribution of the natural calamities among each month, there is clear regularity.The 4th chapter is about the space distribution feature of the natural calamities. Beginning from the area distribution of single calamity, we get the space distribution of the natural calamities: Almost all of the natural calamities occurred in Henan, Shandong, Hebei, Anhui, Shanxi, Shanxi, north Jiangsu as well as north Hubei, it approximately scopes from N30 ℃ to N40 ℃ and to the east of the E110℃ longitude. Above-mentioned area is just densely-populated area, thus it can be seen naturally that calamities mainly destoryed the densely-populated area with developed economy. Therefore this area should be the focal point of precautions against natural calamities area.
