In the process of teaching Chinese to Vietnam students, the writer finds that there are so many errors on indicative supplemental structure. Among all these errors, some obeys disciplines while some not. With index to plenty of materials, the writer realizes that the error researches nowadays are mainly focused on the students from western countries, even from Japan or Korea. The error studis to Vietnam students are rare and mainly about syntactic structure. The study for a certain grammar area is not found yet.According to the study situation in error research field, the writer devotes this thesis to the errors on indicative supplemental structure in the process of learning Chinese of Vietnam students. The aim of this thesis is to supply a teaching method in the teaching practice to Vietnam students.In part one, the writer introduces the main study situation in the field of indicative supplemental structure.In part two, the writer uses the comparison way to analyse the differences between Chinese language and Vietnam language about the supplemental structure, consequential supplements, degree supplements, intentional supplements, possibility supplements, quantity supplements for instance. Based on the analysis conclusion, the writer tries to find out the reasons that cause the errors.In part three, the writer devides the different error instances to types with three fields: grammar structure, semantic, pragmtics. After that, the writer uses the interlanguage theory to analyse the error instances. At the end of this part, the writer draws a conclusion for the elements that cause the study errors: mother language influence, Chinese language influence, personal facts,etc.In part four, the detailed analysises are given to the error reasons. Besides the mother language and Chinese language, there are also teaching materials and teaching methods. It is also in this part that the writer gives advices for solving the errors on indicative supplement structurel.
