The research is on the steel images as one art symbol of Neo-China,significantly illustrated by the paintings of the industrial subjectsduring the first 17 years of Neo-China (1949-1965). The study is implementedin the following 3 aspects:First, from a recall of the art world during the early age of Neo-China,how steel became a new object in art is demonstrated in a survey over theevolution of the paintings themed in industry from the stand on which theartists were required to insist - ' Working hard to manifest the GreatNeo-China ' .Second, the specific paintings are selected for a close study to interpretthe creation and acceptance of the steel images.Third, an analysis is launched over the symbolic steel as one of the imagesof Neo-China in hope to find an effective interpretation to why and howsteel was chosen and taken as a key subject into Neo-Chinese art.State... |
