The Chinese Buddhism was introduced since seven years of YongPing (A.D.64 year) in the East Han Dynasty. In the time , The Chinese Buddhism developed rapidly,especially in the JiangNan area (including the South of Jiangsu Province and the North of Zhejiang Province nowday).The Buddhism of Hangzhou developed all through the ages of the East Jin Dynasty, the South and North States, the Sui Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty,and it reached at the height of power and splendour in the South Song Dynasty.Lin'An ,the temporal capital of the Dynasty (Hang Zhou,the capital of tne Zhengjiang Province of today), not only was the Dynasty's central of politics, economy and culture, but also was the Buddhism central of the temporal China, the East Asia and the South-East Asia.So,Lin'An was called "the South-East Buddhism kingdom",because the Buddhism reached the top and there were a lot of Buddhism temples. Hereinbefore,this is one of culture features of the HangZhou City,as an ancient capital.Based on the incomplete Stat. of this thesis,the number of Buddhism temples amounted to 971 in the area of Lin'An in the South Song Dynasty (including the centonal and the seven couties ).There were probably 140 Buddhism temples in the cantonal and the suburb of them.Withen them,about 67 temples were built in the South Song Dynasty,in 20 percent of the total.The top of the Buddhism and the prosperity of the temples were in relation to the tourism culture of Lin'An.The prosperity of Buddism resulted in the tourism culture of Lin'An.The tourism culture advanced the development of Buddism of Lin'An in reverse.They supplemented each other.The author of the thesis refered to a lot of datum about the thesis and reviewed several times on the spot.So he mastered the particular number of temples in Lin'An and the complextions of every temples.Though the embedded and particularity analyses,the author tried to resume the status of temples in the prosperity period of the Buddhism of Lin'An in the most.On the based of this,the author tried to find out the relation between the temples and the tourism culture.In the end,the author expects to the thesis can benefit the tourism of Hangzhou nowday.
