As a form of theatre, epic theatre differs enormously from Aristotle's style. However, we used to focus on the relationship between the script and its theory, which is in a rather macroscopic angle, but have ignored to discuss it in a microscopic way, regarding to its influence to modern and contemporary theatre. This paper, which is supposed to be in a microscopic perspective, focuses on Brecht himself and his works, in addition with other works in epic theatre style, examining the techniques of the epic script. "Choice of theme" section refers to the absolute difference between epic theatre and Aristotle's style; "Structure" part looks at the script structure of epic theatre and draws an outline of this form; "Character" intends to point out the narrowed point of view of epic theatre where we used to stand. Anyhow, in terms of composition of the essay, each chapter includes the characteristic and technique of script writing; the benefit and risk of using such techniques and skills; its relation to realistic play writing skills as well as its aesthetic characteristic and the continuously changed text. In modern theatre practice, the epic script appears intendedly or unconsciously ,and in such a case, the author assumes that the study of the techniques of epic script writing will benefit the practice of modern theatres.
