The Spirit Of The Chinese Nation Theory, And Confucianism

The thesis discuss about a problem of the connection between the spirit of ch.people and Confucianism. The hole article divides into four separate parts,they are the one-hundred-year in pursuit of ch.people'spirit,the basic theory question about the spirit of nation,the main contents of the spirit of Chinese nation and the connection between the spirit of Chinese people and Confucianism.In the first part of the thesis,the author divide the course of one hundred year in pursuit of the Chinese nation into three separate stages.The first stage is from the end of 19stC.to the early years of 20stC; the second stage is from the WUSi movement in front and behind to the thirties and last till the early years of the sixties; the third stage is from the eighties of 20stC.to today.In the second part of the thesis, the basic theory question about the spirit of nation is discussed about.The author consider the spirit of nation that, it is the common mentality and character of a nation,it is the core and soul of a nation'culture,it is the strength of a nation, which are the three conditions to definit the spirit of nation. And the author think that, we must positively encourage the spirit of nation at rent time; and the spirit of nation is unity of generality and personality, stability and mobility, nationality and inter nationality 1 and so on.In the third part of the thesis, the author make a summary of the basic contents of the spirit of Chinese nation, which are self-strong, morality, entirety and patriotism.The forth part of the article is the basic part of the whole article. In this part, we will get four conclusions, which are as follows First, if we want to study ch.people'spirit, we must study the Chinese culture first.Second,as the main aspect of the Chinese culture,Confucianism can represent ch.people'spirit best.Third,the hundred-year explorations to ch.pleople'spirit is a process that we introspect and apraise Confucianism again and again; Confucianism and ch.people'spirit have many general characters in content which provide the realitive testimony for Confucianism as the represent of ch.people' spirit.Forth, Confucianism is the best culture material to cultivate and carry forward ch.people's spirit in contemporary.
