The Hebei Jingxing Garland Dance Styles Study

Jingxing Lahua, one of the three folk dances in Hebei Province, holds an important position in the folk dance culture. There are three purposes of studying it: first, to summarize its art feature and enrich the theoretical research about folk dance; second, to study its origin and development as well as analyse its status quo in order to protect and carry forward traditional culture; third, to discuss further its unique art style in the present dancing field. With on-the-spot investigation and the research in sociology,documents,history,and human dance culture,this article discusses Lahua,this folk dance's origin,studies its style and draws a conclusion about its general dance style.
