There is an 'identity of status'problem for an individual , a group or acommunity.For a female who's in the society which is dominated by male power,the lackin identity of status is the root of right crisis of female status;moreover,the lack inidentity of status of a political community also causes the crisis of sovereign identity.Inthe love novels of Li Bihua,an author of Hong Kong,the typical text for two types ofcrises about identity of status is provided.Through the text analysis of Li Bihua's lovenovels,this paper attempts to solve two problems:first,power domination of both sexesin love relation,sex figure of female,as well as female status and the problem of primacy,how the female is put in subordinative status in order to maintain male interest andauthority for themselves;second,real—life political power relations indicated by repeat offate,deflection of figure and lack of status for the female since thousands of years,namely,cultural status of colonial Hong Kong.
