In the 1990s, female writings have become a splendid literary and cultural sight in Chinese contemporary literature. As the typal symptom of female writings, "personalization of female sex writing" is the most revolutionary text because of its distinctive sense of gender, radical implication and unique narration. Behind the subversion, rebellion and radicalness, there is a kind of escape emotion. The author attempts to analyze the escape emotion and reexamine novelists, characters and narration in order to display the cultural/literary facts and psychological fact. The thesis is chiefly formed by six chapters. Its major content is as follows:The first part is the preface. This part describes the cultural background and explains the synchronic affects between "individual writings" and "personalization of female sex writing" . The second part studies the origin of escape emotion. The third part discusses the possibility of escape emotion through analyzing three kinds of existent predicaments: role, feelings and existence. The fourth part inquires into the limitation of escape actions which include narcissim, sisterhood, self-exile, insanity and death. The fifth part deals with the narration that evades traditional patterns. It includes soul narration, memory and illusion, fragmental narration. The last part affirms the positive sense of escape emotion and points out the new question: In the 21st century, female writings should be on guard against the commercial and functional traps.
