In this so-defined post-modernism era, which is lacking of profundity, visual communication design, the surface layer for information communicating, is doomed to be accompanied by superficiality and kitsch. Is it true?To find the answer to this question, this article concentrates on the most racket realm of mass culture, the relationship between pop music and visual communication design. Afterthe Second World War, pop music--one of the main arenas for the youth culturecampaign, has been interacted with visual communication design.
