From Myths And Legends To Explore The Traditional Childbearing Concept Of G Muren

Khmu people reside in Southwest of Yunnan Province, China. There are religionary and mysterious myths in their cultural tradition. Myth is the first glary page of human cultural history, it not only has important literature value but has costful scientific value. Myth contains nation's philosophy, arts, religious, custom and origin of the whole value system. From this point of view, to study Khmu people's traditional idea of reproduction is a research about pure literature and a research and investigation about its' religious, custom and so on.In the long history of Khmu, their ancestors had created many graceful myths about origin of human being, by right of simple and plain thinking and cognitive ability, they also formed plenty of knowledge about reproduction and fosterage, it is the most important content of Khmu's traditional reproduction culture, and Khmu had formed their own national and traditional idea of reproduction.According as many experts' research, based on analyzing of much original materials and myths, the thesis narrates Khmu's traditional idea of reproduction and the relationship between myth and Khmu's traditional idea of reproduction. Thus, the research aims at indoctrinating scientific idea of reproduction, in order to let Khmu throw wicked idea away, and to improve diathesis of population, to accelerate their development of economy and society. The research has important theoretical and practical signification.This thesis has following parts: preface, straight matter, and epilogue. The preface says the reason of selecting topic and research method.The straight matter concludes four parts. The first part is khmu's general situation, myth, traditional idea of reproduction.The second part discusses explanation reproduction culture of khmu's in myth. Including element of reproduction in khmu's myth and realistic embodiment reflection of khmu's myth.By perspective of khmu's myth,analyzing element of reproduction,for example flood and cucurbit, totemic worship, coming phallism along with reproduction god,ect.The third part dissertates myth and reproduction are interwoven, the idea of reproduction is turning into forming period of time with Myth; the idea of reproduction is running through myth and developing along with myth; though myth die out in the modern, idea of reproduction continues. Penetrating khmu's traditional idea of reproduction, including religious idea of reproduction, applied idea of reproduction, attending idea of reproduction. The forth part narrates actuality of modern khmu's traditional idea of reproduction.
