Sex Ethics In The Culture Of New China In Three Decades (1949-1978)

In the broad sense, Gender Ethics Culture is a function model reflecting many links between male and female. It consists of how to contact, how to get along, how to love, how to lead marry life, how to make sex , etc. In the narrow sense, it is a function model reflecting "sex" , including many aspects about the concept of "sex" . This dissertation take the narrow sense of Gender Ethics Culture, analyzing the fundamental state of virgin concept, social contact, sex education of the three decades after the Peoples Public of China founding, exploring the fundamental features , historic experience and lessons in this period. The dissertation expounds four aspects about the theme. First, the mistakes of conceptions and behavior of Gender Ethics Culture. Second, political criticism and culture encircle and suppress. Third, sex education of three decades. Last, social contact between male and female and development and historical limitations of virgin culture.Chapter one, the mistakes of conceptions and behavior of Gender Ethics Culture. People devoted much energy to criticize the ideas and life styles of capitalist, neglecting criticizing the ideas of Feudalism in three decades after the new China founding. Especially, people made many conception mistakes about Gender Ethics Culture, such as "hooligan" , "worn-down shoes" , "playing around relations between two genders" , "contemptible" , "irregular" , etc. These mistakes led to wrong behavior. Leaders worn, tracked, watched, expose, report the relation between two genders, which was the model of people concerning it.Chapter two, political criticize and culture encircle and suppress. In the 1950s, "Class struggle was the principal. " and "politics decided everything. " were two main value standards evaluating the relation between two genders. The relation was not private things. It must serve for the working class' politics. Therefore, there was great political criticize. The subjects and contents of criticizing were the so-called "worn-down shoes" , "ideas and life styles of capitalist" , "the close relationship of social contact between men and women" , etc. In the early 1960s, all the works which consisted of the words of "love" and "sex" were suppressed. In the late 1960s, there was no sex in the society of China because ideology under the extreme Left-leaning political routes destroyed the human nature.Chapter three, sex education of three decades. Sex education centered "human dignity" and "neutral" . The purpose for it was communism virtue of growing generation. Social made the education of unified model, unified conception, unified category for young students. In sex physiology, intellectual put forward sexeducation, premier Zhou enlai also cared the sex education of young people teenagers, ordering school to teach the sex health to the youths, let the youths use science knowledge to protect the health and growth. However, "sex is mystical" , " sex is low-down" had a long history. The wish of premier Zhou was a pity.Chapter four, social contact between male and female and development and history limitations of virgin culture. Social contact between male and female in the new period was the main content of transforming, which included the conceptual change and behavior change. The changes of virgin culture showed negating the traditional virgin concept and agreeing widow remarrying. The transform made obvious effects in changing traditional behavior. Gender Ethics Culture, however, had the historical limitations. There would be a long tortuous but gradual process. In the last, the dissertation summarized the fundamental features and historic experience and lessons of the changing Gender Ethics Culture in three decades.
