Land And Water Law Would Music

On the basis of compiling the stereo materials and music scores of Shuilu Fahui, this thesis describes the genesis, the development, the content, the scale and the appearance of Shuilu Fahui. In order to illuminate the musical characteristics of Shuilu Fahui, the thesis analyzes the scale and tune, the melody, the time and rhythm, the structure and the combination of music and words according to the literature forms of Buddhist lection(hymn, chant, speaking, incantation) from the perspective of musical forms. This thesis consists of two chapters, Chapter One depicts the history and development of Shuilu Fahui; Chapter Two illustrates the musical forms of Shuilu Fahui, the first section of Chapter Two describes the literature forms and musical structure, and the second section describes the music characteristics of Shuilu Fahui.
