Exploration Of The Rorschach Inkblot System In China In The Psychological Clinical Application And Practice

In the last twenty years the advent of the Comprehensive System has developed the Rorschach Inkblot Method(RIM) into a standardized and psychometrically sound personality assessment instrument. It produces numerous indices that can be reliably coded, shows considerable test-retest stability, and has abundant valid corollaries.The purpose of this research is to introduce the Rorschach Comprehensive System to Chinese psychological society. The first two parts of this thesis summarize the history and theory of the RIM. And the third part, also the major part of the thesis, renders two recently practiced Chinese RIM cases, which have the comprehensive system' s scoring and interpretive process, then discusses the substantial information, the clinical application value of the comprehensive system and the difficult points of popularizing the RIM in China. In the fourth part, a prospect of the future applications and researchs of the RIM in China is put forward.
