Aesthetics of watercolor is different from the aesthetics of other paintings, which lies in its possession of inimitable aesthetics character and art attraction. Aesthetic character of watercolor develops along with the development of watercolor representative forms, and becomes more and more enrichment with innovation on it.The first part of this paper mainly discussed watercolor' unique analysis of aesthetics. It includes two aspects. The one is watercolors' unique character of aesthetics, which is mainly composed of three basic factors: (1) transparent beauty of color, (2) ambulatory beauty of water, (3) abundant beauty of writing style. When concerning transparent beauty of color, this paper compared watercolor' color with traditional Chinese painting' color and canvas' color, then illustrated watercolors' transparent color, and analyzed the problems which might be encountered while in creating water color' . Secondly, the beauty of water fluctuation used the water in traditional Chinese paintings as reference which has unique taste to analyze the attraction of water; Water attributes the life to watercolor, the Flowing of watercolor becomes quiet elegant, similar affect, poetry and merry and lively. Thirdly, the paper analyzed various beauty of paintbrush; which is different from the type of brush, appropriation of water and color, the object depicted, the quality of paper, the style of the artists. The other one is the beauty of watercolor skill, which is abundant. In this part, the paper analyzed the beauty of dry brushwork, wet brushwork, dry and wet brushwork combined and some special brushwork.The second part of this paper mainly discussed Lhe aesthetic education of watercolor. Firstly, we should try to touch students to love life, carelife, and be good at discovering beauty in J ife; only if they have passionate attitude to life, will they have creative enthusiasm. Secondly, we should make students know watercolor and its history, know its making tools, know its drawing process and know how to appreciate excellent works. Thirdly, students will be familiar with watercolor. Above all, students need to possess well-knit basic skill and master the skill of watercolor; learn skills from excellence artist. Studying traditional Chinese paintings and handwritings may do favor to the watercolor skills. Fourthly, developing and innovating watercolor, train students and let they have different individual aesthetics and over-mundane idea, in the meantime, teacher should understand and respect their students, admitting of different viewpoint. |
