Chinese Society In Transition Personality Study

The transfer from the traditional personality to the modern personality is the deepest change in China's social transition period. In recent years, with the ever-increasing steps of China's reform and opening-up policy, the study on personality theory in transitional period is also continuously deepened. In the visual field of social philosophy, sociology and psychology, the aim of this paper is to probe into the problem of China's personality transfer. As far as I am concerned, the personality status in the contemporary era of China presents what I call the Boundary Personality. Based on the reflexion of the premise of the personality transfer, we should make great efforts to construct modern structure of personality, and to find the effective approach to the modern personality shape.This paper comprises three parts: In first part, there are reviews and analysis of the past and present personality theories. I use two dimensions, which consist of history tense and present tense, to anatomy the personality theory on the theoretic level. In second part, the emphasis is on the reflexion of the personality transfer. That means to analyze the interior factors and exterior conditions, which restricts China's personality transfer. Then, an estimate of the standard of modern personality is given, hi third part, the modern personality structure is given, which includes three: the kernel structure, the basic structure and the out-show structure. Relying on the personality structure, I expatiate my own opinions on modern personality shape in six facets: 1. How to satisfy Chinese people's reasonable needs? 2. Moral education and education of the value viewpoint; 3. How to rebuild the belief? 4. How to make individuation education? 5. How to play the social role? 6. How to form the daily action mode? In the epilogue, a prospect of Chinese personality development is made out to foresee the future.
