As an indivisible part of his ontology philosophy, Heidegger's aesthetics has subverted traditional western aesthetics. It has united beauty and truth internally,and has endowed aesthetics with Being, making it a rooted science from then on.On beauty it shows:beauty is one of the ways truth appears; the being of all is the most beautiful; and fascination simultaneous with perplex implies the essence of beauty. On Dichtung it indicates: Dichtung is the nature of all art; Dichtung means linguistic establishment of Being; and Dichtung bestows sacred yardstick on human being which facilitates poetic habitation on the earth. And on art it tells us:the occurrence of truth is the innate character of works; to create is to receive and obtain the truth of Being; Bewahrung makes a work be itself and the creative Bewahrung of the truth in works is nothing but art; mordern art is alienated from its resource and rejuvenation of real art signifies the salvation of both modern art and future mankind. As anti-aesthetics, Heidegger's has a great practical motive, hoping to save technically-inhabitated man and making him reside poetically on the earth. Heidegger's aesthetics symbolizes the end of modern aesthetics and the beginning of post-modern aesthetics. The future aesthetics must own the trinity of existence, practice and language, which is enlightened on us by Heidegger. |
