The progress of computer technology and the development of language testing make the study on computerized language test an increasingly urgent task today. The field of researches on Chinese as a Second Language has seen the dawn light of progress. This thesis, exploring the topic from a perspective of composition scoring, defines and validates a set of objective criteria for HSK compositional paper's scoring on an experimental and empirical basis. The result reveals that objective scoring has a good reliability and validity, and the objective criteria, such as lexical levels, grammatical mistakes, and key words for the content, are valuable as well as the present subjective grading of HSK. |
