Wang Li 3 Mr. Piano Music Research

This dissertation presents a general review of Mr. Wang Lisan抯 exploration in Chinese Piano Music beginning from 194 Os. The creation of Lanhuahua and small sonata, laid a sound foundation for his later creation in piano music. After the reform and opening, Mr. Wang Lisan did more practice in his creations of Piano Music. He composed Piano Music by using the rhythms of vocalities and folk traditional operas. He rearranged Piano Music applying both national tonalities and colorful tones. He also composed Piano Music by means of modem melodizing methods, which made his works become Chinese New Music with both national and modem characters. Besides, the article shows the author抯 opinion on how to perform and teach some of Mr. Wang Lishans works, for example, Lanhuahua, Under the Sunshine, Brother and Sisters opening up the wasteland and Shengtao etc. The author tries to explore experiences of performing and teaching Mr. Wang Lisans works by analyzing creation background, music structure, ways of expression, mood, fingering, footplate, etc. By doing this, the author has assimilated extracts and gained illuminations so as to provide some beneficial references for the future composers and teachers in this area. -2- Finally, basing on facts, the author generalizes Mr. Wang Lisans main characters in the creations of Piano Music and his contribution and position in the development of Chinese Piano Music. The author concludes that Mr. Wang Lisan is the main representative of the musician and composers who inherited the past and ushered the future in our country. At the end, the author gives some consideration on the simcization of the piano.
